The first step after securing admission to a university in the USA is to apply for your student visa.
Receive the I-20 Form. The university will provide you with this form after confirming your admission.
Pay SEVIS Fee. This is mandatory and needs to be done before scheduling your visa interview.
Apply for the F-1 Visa. Fill out the DS-160 online and pay the visa application fee.
Schedule a Visa interview. This can be done at your nearest US embassy or consulate.
Prepare for your interview. Make sure to be ready to explain your academic plans, course of choice, financial stability, and all your plans.
